Dead baby found in a paint bucket

Despite the option of abortion, people still want to kill and dump their babies like rubbish.

The dead body of a two-month-old child was found inside a paint bucket at Motsumi Street in Mohlakeng on 23 July.

According to resident and eye witness at the scene Thabo Ndiaza, children who were playing in the street made the shocking discovery.

“Initially the children went to the veld nearby to look for items that they could play with.

“They came back with empty tins and a heavy paint bucket that they dragged around for some time.

“Eventually, the bucket toppled over and the body of a dead baby emerged.

“They immediately rushed to us and informed us of the incident,” says Ndiaza.

He adds that he together with other residents went to investigate and upon arrival, they found the dead baby and called the police.

“Despite the option of abortion, people still want to kill and dump their babies like rubbish.

“It is really disturbing.

“And to make matters worse, our children have to come across such things while playing,” says Ndiaza.
