Police in Randfontein are investigating a case of attempted murder after a man fired a shot at another man after a brawl.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, the two men, who were in a house in Brandvlei, started quarreling just after midnight on 14 July.
The men were chased out of the house by other men who were also at the house and once outside, one of the men fetched a firearm from his car and fired a shot in the direction of the other man, luckily failing to hit anyone.
The Randfontein SAPS was called and the suspect was arrested shortly after the incident.
