A 37-year-old Homelake man was attacked in his house by six robbers.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, the man returned home just before 9pm when he was overpowered by one suspect at the gate to the premises.
The suspect forced him into the house at gunpoint, where they encountered another five suspects.
The victim was ordered to lie on the floor while the house was ransacked.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, CAptain Appel Ernst, numerous household items were taken from the house and the suspects also fled in the victim’s Volkswagen Polo Playa with registration number YTF 720 GP.
Luckily the man was not injured and no shots were fired during the incident.
