Robinson Private hospital is currently busy with the second phase of their ugrading project in order to make their pasients' lives even more convenient.

In keeping with its promise of making life better, Life Robinson Private Hospital has embarked on the second phase of their upgrading project.

An additional 25 bed surgical ward and five new, upmarket private maternity rooms will be added to the facility.

The patient and visitor parking area is currently being resurfaced and will be expanded to include 100 additional parking bays.

The accident and emergency unit parking area will also be resurfaced and a dedicated ambulance entrance will be added to allow easy access for emergency vehicles.

“We pride ourselves on the service we provide to the community and have noticed an increasing need for a larger facility. “Our community has supported the hospital for the past 85 years and the upgrades will ensure that we are able to better serve them and address their needs,” says hospital manager Adri Botes.

The renovations to the hospital’s main parking area might cause some traffic disruptions.

Temporary additional parking space has been created and the patient drop-off area at reception will not be affected.

The expected completion date for the second phase upgrade is January 2014.

“We would like to thank our community for their understanding and patience during the renovations and ensure them that we are doing everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible for them”, concluded Botes.

Community members are welcome to contact marketing and communications coordinator Melanie van Staden telephonically on 011 278 8701 or via e-mail, melanie.besselaar@lifehealthcare.co.za, should they experience any concerns during the renovations or have any suggestions.
