They feel that this has been a neglected subject in schools and it’s importance needs to be communicated.

According to Katlego Mohgoai, this is really to instill confidence in learners who are studying mathematics.

“It has been said that the number of learners studying mathematics in this country has declined drastically over the years.

“Despite popular belief, mathematics really isn’t rocket science and we need to do away with that mentality.

“In order to assist in that regard, we will be visiting numerous schools in the West Rand to give free tutorials.

“Like any other subject, it needs one to be determined that’s all,” says Mohgoai.

“If anything, we are really hoping to see more people take up mathematics as a subject in school.

“We feel that this will definitely broaden their career options once they finish matric and step into varsity.”
