The Randfontein CPF will be hosting another crime prevention meeting on 9 July at the Randfontein Rugby Club at 6pm.

The meeting will be for residents who reside in Sector 4, namely Greenhills, Culemborg Park, Helikon Park, Eike Park, Randpoort, Randgate and Homelake, where break-ins and armed robberies are said to be on the rise.

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss and explore ways of combating crime.

According to CPF member Zaheer Gangat, the last meeting they had was a staggering success and they hope for the same turn out as the last one if not a better one.

“People are starting to realize the importance of their presence in these meetings and are showing support for our mandate.

“I am sure that I speak for everyone when I say that we are all fed-up with crime and want to live in communities where we are free of the constant fear of becoming victims of crime.

For more information on the meeting, residents can contact Staley on 082 854 2731.
