The Randfontein Publicity Association offices have been vandalised and traces of blood left behind in what management suspects was an intentional malicious act.

The incident occurred on the weekend of 8 June.

According to RPA Publicity Officer Joy Hamann, she was shocked to find drops of blood on the pavement as well as on their office door.

“Upon our arrival at work on 10 June, the wooden fence on our property was damaged and parts of it was thrown metres away.

“Apart from that, we discovered that our sprinklers were also damaged,” says Harmann

She adds that she paid no mind to this and decided to proceed to the office however that is where she made the shocking discovery.

“I found drops of blood on the pavement and just when I looked up to open the door, I came across more blood on the door.

“I immediately approached the security guards to find out what had happened and according to them, they did not hear or see anything,” says Harmann

In the meantime, she urges anyone who could have information with regards to the incident to contact the RPA office on 011 412-2878 or send an email to joy@randfonteininfo.co.za.
