A 21-year old Toekomsrus woman was raped by a male friend on 9 june.
The woman was apparently walking along a road in Toekomsrus with her friend when the man apparently suddenly forced her into the veld adjoining the road.
The man ordered her to undress and she refused.
Enraged, the man produced a knife, insisting that the woman undress.
When she again refused his request, he stabbed her in the leg before forcing her down on the ground and raping her.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, CAptain Appel Enrst, the suspect is still at large.
