Homelake woman attacked in her house

A 26-year old woman was overpowered at her home in Homelake on 3 June.

The woman had apparently just gotten home when she was attacked as she entered to her home.

The suspects assaulted her and later, when her husband returned home, they also attacked him .

The suspects then fled from the scene, taking numerous articles of electronic equipment from the residence.

No serious injuries were sustained during the incident.

According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, the SAPS Randfontein are investigating the incident and would appreciate any information that might lead to the recovery of the stolen goods and the apprehension of the suspects.
