Bekkersdal unites for Cancer Awareness Walk

Breast cancer survivor Zandile Ndlovu is on a mission to help spread awareness by hosting a fun walk on September 28.

Zandile Ndlovu will host a Cancer Awareness Fun Walk dedicated to raising awareness towards research and support services.

The fun walk will take place at Irvin’s Park this Saturday, September 28.

“Cancer touches countless lives each year, including the lives of friends, loved ones and family members. This event is a powerful way to fight against cancer while also supporting those who are battling it,” she expressed.

This event will be a way for Zandile to raise awareness about breast and prostate cancer. She is also appealing for donations surrounding the event.

You can help by donating the following:

• 300 dark purple cups
• 300 branded water bottles
• 300 lunch packs and snacks
• 300 dark purple branded shirts
• Two branded banners

Zandile is a single mother of one who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. Consequently, she started chemotherapy and had operations. Now she stands as a motivational speaker to help those who are suffering at the hands of cancer.
