Chanté officially joins the Herald family
'My hope for this role is to tell your stories to the best of my ability.'
The Randfontein Herald has officially welcomed Chanté Bolton as part of the Randfontein Herald family.
Since high school, she has dreamt of becoming a journalist.
“Having that dream come true and being able to live out my passion is an honour,” she said.
“As journalists, I believe we have a responsibility to our community, to be their voice. I promise to do my utmost best to tell your stories truthfully and bring you informative and unbiased news.
“I grew up in Pretoria and spent my school holidays in Randfontein. In 2021, I received my BA degree in Communication at North West University, and in 2022 my BA Honours degree in English Language and Literature.
“In 2023 I started working at the Roodepoort Record. This year, in February, I transferred to the Randfontein Herald.”
