Time2Rise helped residents pray during elections

Election prayer gathering hosted by Time2Rise helps residents focus on God during the election process.

Time2Rise Randfontein (T2RR) orchestrated a pre-election gathering where multiple organisations and residents joined to pray for the elections.

On May 28, groups of residents gathered at the cross on the corner of the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein around 18:30.

Chairperson of T2RR Enrico van Aswegen, stated that residents streamed in to pray for South Africa during the election process.

“South Africa is in need and many Christian believers in the country realise that it is only Abba Father who has the highest authority to make a difference. The gathering ensured that everyone came together in unity before the elections day to ask His hand of justice over the elections processes,” Enrico claimed.

Enrico gave a short word of prayer to start the event and thereafter praise and worship were presented. Residents were then split into groups where they had specific prayer points. The prayer points were facilitated by T2RR and Prayer Circle National. This meant that T2R had multiple prayer points all over the nation.

Furthermore, Enrico stated that they invited all believers who have a passion and love for Randfontein. He also said that the gathering was for people who wanted to make a difference with God as their foundation. Although Enrico added that T2RR is aware many communities have their assignment, mandate and mission, he wants to create an opportunity where they can work together.

“The gathering was very successful. The Word states that where two or more people gather in the name of Jesus Christ, He will also be there. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so clearly palpable,” Enrico expressed.
