The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall on X (previously known as Twitter) which could lead to localised flooding of formal and informal settlements, low-lying roads and bridges over Gauteng.

According to Gauteng Weather on X, they said that there is a rain probability of 80% for the entire day over Gauteng, and also stated that potential threats include heavy rain and localised flooding.
