Merry Christmas from the Herald team

Ho Ho Ho! Happy Holidays from the Randfontein Herald.

• The Herald team writes:

• Editor:

It’s the festive season and is there no better time to get merry!

From the Randfontein Herald, we would like to wish every resident in town a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you to all the businesses who have been supporting us and the residents for sharing their stories.

Please let us know if anything is happening in town by sending an email to randfonteinherald@caxton.co.za or see the directory.

• Journalist Mbali Maqhwara:

Christmas is upon us and not only is it a time to take some time off and reboot but also a time to look back at the year we’ve had and be grateful for making it this far.

This is also a time to spend with family and create beautiful memories that will live on forever.

Although we may not be related by blood, the Randfontein and Westonaria community is also our family and we wish you the best during this season.

May the good Lord expand your territory going into the new year and may you achieve all that your hearts desire.

May the Christmas Season also bring happiness and joy to you and your family.

By virtue of being alive today, it simply means our journey has not ended and more still needs to be done. May you be blessed always and may your cup runneth over.

• Journalist Dominique Duvenhage:

Decorate your Christmas tree and wear your Santa hat because the most jolliest time of the year is here.

The festive season has approached and many have already started celebrating. It is always a pleasant sight to be surrounded by smiles and giggles of cheer. Every Christmas is special and surely this one will not be an exception. I am extremely excited to enjoy a braai with my family in Klerksdorp where we will sit around the fire and tell stories about the challenges we had to face this year.

Even though Christmas brings the community together, it is important to grasp the purpose of what this holiday entails. Of course, putting out cookies for Santa is very important, however, Christmas represents the gift of love and peace. I think family is the most important during this time. I will appreciate and cherish those close to me this festive season and I hope you do too. I sincerely hope that the Randfontein community enjoys this break before embarking on a new journey next year.

May all that is beautiful and meaningful be yours throughout the holiday season and this coming year. Most importantly, may all your batteries be included.
