Man wanted for questioning in rape case
Police released an identity kit of a man wanted for questioning relating to a rape case.
The Carletonville Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) is appealing to members of the West Rand community to assist in locating a man believed to have information that could assist in a rape case.
According to police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya, the man pictured could have information that can assist the police with additional information on a case of rape that occurred on September 9.
Police revealed that a 14-year-old was raped by two unidentified men in an open field near Khutsong Extension 2 that day.
“Anyone with information that can assist in locating the man pictured is urged to call Lieutenant Colonel Koee of the Khutsong detectives on 071 111 6163 or Crime Stop Line 08600 10111.”
