Pizza deliverers collide at intersection in Homelake

Two delivery drivers on their scooters collided at a Homelake intersection.

Two scooter drivers who were on their way to deliver pizza were involved in a minor collision at the intersection of Homestead Avenue and Kenneth Road in Homelake earlier today (October 3).

One of the drivers told the Randfontein Herald that the collision happened at the intersection and as they turned into Kenneth Road.

As the orange traffic light turned red, the other scooter driver made an immediate stop to avoid collision with oncoming traffic but one of the other scooter drivers did not see his fellow driver stop, colliding leading to one of them falling off into the road.

Fortunately, both drivers had their helmets on and did not sustain any serious injuries.
