This comes after the team received a tip-off regarding a delivery of drugs that was taking place near a shopping complex in Toekomsrus on Saturday, July 2.

“We received a tip-off regarding the drugs and immediate action had to take place. We went to the scene but unfortunately, the suspect got away. We, however, managed to recover a large amount of Cat which was handed over to police in Randfontein,” said Christian.
He added that a partnership between themselves, the community, police, and other law enforcement entities is vital in the fight against drugs and other acts of criminality.
“As a public benefit organisation, we are committed to the safety and well-being of everyone in our district. Our community safety operations are in line with our welfare and humanitarian activities,” he concluded.
