Wings grandfathers spoiled for Father’s Day

A father deserves to be spoiled, and the elderly at Wings of Inspiration Centre certainly were while marking Father’s Day.
“Father’s Day is not just a celebration of fathers but also a recognition of the contribution that fathers make to a family,” said housefather at the centre, Andrè Smith.
He added that the grandfathers at the elderly care centre recently got thoroughly spoiled by directors Anthea da Costa and Kirsten Richardson and Gerda Bekker who is part of the management team.
“The grandfathers received lovely hampers from the ladies and this was a reminder that fathers should be celebrated regardless of age.”
