Garden tools stolen at Greenhills property
Mostly garden tools were stolen during a theft incident at a property in Greenhills last week.

Last week thieves gained entry into a property in Greenhills by damaging the house’s electric fence and stealing mostly garden tools.

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security’s operations manager Danie Vermeulen explained the theft incident took place at 06:50 last Tuesday, June 13 and the thieves went on to steal one lawnmower and hedge trimmer.
It was one of three serious incidents reported to Mapogo in Rand West City for the period from June 12 to 18.
Details about other incidents:
1. Tuesday, June 13 at 12:13 – Attempted housebreaking in Homestead Avenue, Homelake
Thieves entered the premises and attempted to force open the security gate. The perp failed and fled the scene.
2. Sunday, June 18 at 05:05 – Business break-in and theft in Main Reef Road, Randfontein
Thieves gained access by cutting the perimeter fence. They broke a window, forcing open the burglar bars and stealing one bush cutter.
