'My aspirations for the future is selling my artworks to high-end clients and telling stories through short films and documentaries' - Laerskool Rapportryer's school photographer.
Local photographer Thapelo Cruise Mnguni is planning on taking his passion for photography to the top.
The 27-year-old has been a photographer for the past 10 years and started with photography in 2014. He is also currently Laerskool Rapportryer’s school photographer.

Thapelo has no formal training and all of his incredible work comes from him being self-taught, which is even more incredible, as his talent is like nothing else.
He explained that initially he just wanted to be a videographer as he was good with editing but that all changed when he bought his first camera.
“I specialise in fashion editorial photos, beauty photography, and storytelling photography. I’ve always been inspired by fashion photography from magazines and Fashion TV, so when I started taking photos, my concepts were drawn from what I used to see on television and in magazines.”
Thapelo has his eye on having his photography showcased at an exhibition that will be taking place later this year in Cape Town.
