RSS matric class of 2022 did it!

Matriculants of Randfontein Secondary School (RSS) learnt their fate when the matric results were released for the class of 2022 on January 20.

The matric class of 2022 at Randfontein Secondary School (RSS) celebrated their victory in style on Friday, January 20.

This was the day that they learnt their fate as to whether or not they will be moving to institutions of higher learning. The Herald was there to witness every moment from tears of joy to celebrations.

Tezianique Saunderson, Emihle Majali and Lodean Jood said they were excited about what their future holds for them.

Matriculant Tezianique Saunderson told the Herald that she is very happy.

“I feel thrilled to enter the adult world. I’m going to study Law. I’m very excited that I made it. I’m so proud of myself. I trust that God will lead me the way,” Saunderson said.

Another learner, Emihle Majali, was also in happy spirits.

Nqobile Sabela and Tshidiso Motsemme said they too were thrilled with their results obtained and are looking forward to the future.

“I’ll be studying teaching and I’m very happy about my marks. I’ll go where I’m accepted,” she said gratefully.

Meanwhile, Lodean Jood said she is very proud of herself and happy to have made her parents proud.

“I’m going to study Economics at the Tshwane University of Technology and cannot wait,” Jood said.

Meanwhile, the school bagged a 91,56 percent pass rate.
