Children reportedly injured in serious crash at infamous intersection
A minibus transporting children is reportedly one of the vehicles involved in a serious crash at the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein during the early morning hours of Thursday.
Traffic came to a halt on Thursday morning, November 24 following a serious crash at the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash including a minibus which was reportedly transporting school children.
When the Herald arrived just before 08:00, journalist Michelle Roodt described the scene as chaotic with fire and rescue services, police, traffic police and other emergency services already on scene.

“It is believed that school children were among those treated for their injuries. Numerous others were also injured and loaded into ambulances,” she said.
The exact number of those injured is undetermined at this point but the Herald can confirm there were no fatalities at the time of print.
