Another man found dead, cops again appeal for assistance
Information gathered from community members suggests that the person just collapsed.
Randfontein Police are appealing for assistance from local community members who can help in locating another deceased man’s family.
This comes after a man’s body was found on Village Street at about 13:40 on September 11.
Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks said police received a complaint of an unknown deceased male in Village Street.
“Police officers were called out to a scene and upon their arrival, they found the emergency medical services who certified the unknown man dead. Information gathered from community members suggests that the person just collapsed,” said Sergeant Hendricks who added that the man did not have any form of identification when he was found.
Anyone who might have any information that could assist in finding the family that can identify the body is urged to come forward

Meanwhile in a separate incident, another man was found dead in an open veld next to the R41 on September 8.
Randfontein Police also need help in locating his family.
