The Randfontein Police need assistance from the community in finding the family of a man found dead in an open veld next to the R41.
Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks said they responded to a complaint of a man found lying on his stomach on Thursday morning, September 8.
“The body of an unknown man was found lying on his stomach wearing a black jersey, light blue skinny jean and a beanie on his head. The emergency medical services were called and the paramedic on the scene certified the man dead,” said Sergeant Hendricks.
She added Detective Warrant Officer Breytenbach is appealing to the community to come forward with any information that could assist in finding the family of the deceased.
