Nkahosheko (16) off to Thailand for beauty pageant

This comes after winning the Miss Kids Star title recently.

Mohlakeng resident Nkahosheko Kopa is set to fly South Africa’s flag high and will represent the country at a pageant in Thailand in December.

This comes after the 16-year-old who is currently in Grade 10 at Randfontein High School, was selected to do the honours – following her victory of winning the Miss Kids Star title recently.

Speaking to her mother, Zanele Kopa, she said she is thrilled with her daughter’s achievement so far and is positive that she will do well at the pageant.

“Nkahosheko is a very active young lady since her early ages and has participated in various school activities such as netball, athletics, and the spelling bee competition among others.

“Modelling was never part of her main focus but is now one of her passions. She recently joined Rotary International and she attended a leadership camp in May this year,” said Zanele.

Shortly after this, the young Nkahosheko took a leap of faith and entered a Cultural Heritage pageant in September this year for Kids Star SA and that’s where she won the title of Miss Kids Star SA

Part of the prize is an opportunity for the winner to represent South Africa in the Kids Star international pageant – set to be held in Thailand from the December 10 till December 19.

They are asking for any donations that can assist in funding the trip. To offer a helping hand, contact Zanele on 072 226 0976.

Meanwhile, Nkahosheko is also part of Ditsala Children Shield and Projects, which is a Non-Profit-Organisation with an aim to empower children from various disadvantaged communities.
