Miss Proficient South Africa crowns their first queen

The three winners will continue with their charity work throughout the year until the next crowning in 2023.

Miss Proficient South Africa has crowned their very first queen.

The event took place late in August at Randfontein Primary School where all contestants looked stunning and ready to battle for the crown.

One of the Miss Proficient South Africa directors, Pretty Legatlape said eight contestants rocked the ramp. The top five were Tidimalo Moepeng, Lebogang Mofokeng, Karabo Machabela, Basetsana Nkepang and Vicky Mcpherson.

Moepeng won the Miss Proficient South Africa 2022 title, Machabela was crowned Miss Proficient South Africa first princess and Mcpherson was crowned Miss Proficient South Africa second princess.

Legatlape added that the three winners will continue their charity work throughout the year until the next crowning in 2023.

“We would like to thank the adjudicators, Janet Gundani, Nadia Rogers, Tshiamo Machabela and Galaletang Setsetse for the great work they have done, not forgetting Vinolia Ntombela our lovely MC. Lastly we would like to thank all the entertainment performances – Bonolo R-Line with her dance crew, Zinzi Nkomo, and Success Siroc.

Thanks to all the sponsors: Dance Hub, Kea for make-up, Randfontein Primary School and everyone who drove up and down to make sure the event was a success.”

She said they already were looking forward to the 2023 crowning. Anyone wishing to donate sanitary towels, clothes, shoes, school uniforms and any other essentials is requested to contact Miss Proficient South Africa on 068 043 9972 or email missproficientsa@gmail.com.
