Hundreds participate in aerobics competition
More than 200 people attended the event which catered for both young and old.
The Fitness Fun Connection Club held its aerobics competition at the Greenhills Stadium on August 13 where fitness was the order of the day.
More than 200 people attended the event that started at 08:00 and ended at 19:30, and catered for both the young and the old.
They took part individually and in teams in different challenges such as Hilo, Box, Step and Box Step competitions.
According to event organiser Makalo Mokgadi the club hosts the event annually and also attends similar events across the country.
“Every year people come from different provinces for this prestigious event and it gives us pride seeing how packed the venue was.
“We have attracted people who take part in aerobics for different reasons. Some do it as a hobby, others do it to achieve certain body goals,” said Mokgadi who added that a healthy lifestyle is what a lot of people are leaning towards.
Lesley Mokoena and Nyakallo Mosololi won the Functional challenge competition and were gifted with gym wear.
