Local resident shines during Royalty Pageant ZA
Taylor da Costa, 16, plans on participating in competitions worldwide and influencing other models through social media.
A local resident and model is proud of what she has accomplished.
The 16-year-old Taylor da Costa competed in the Royalty Pageant ZA that was held in Krugersdorp West on Saturday, July 9.
This was her first pageant and she explained that she started with pageants at the beginning of the year – not to win, but rather for the experience, fun and elegance modelling would teach her.
She is involved in a few charities like Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre, Wings of Inspiration’s Women and Children Shelter, and the Wings of Inspiration Sober House.
She secured the following titles during the competition:
• Miss Royalty ZA2022/2023 ambassador
• Overall Royalty ZA 2022/2023 philanthropist
• Miss Teen Royalty ZA 2022 for charity
• Overall public choice
“In the future I see myself participating in competitions worldwide and influencing other models through social media. I would also love to see myself as a fair, well-trained judge for younger contestants at pageants.”
