LETTER: To those dumping … Shame on you!
Resident is concerned about the area around the lower dam in Greenhills that has become an unhealthy dumping ground.

The area around the lower dam in Greenhills that borders on Tier Street has become an unhealthy dumping ground for kitchen and garden refuse.
Whoever is doing this, STOP IT, it is disgusting, shame on you.
I have paid people to the tune of R1 000 or so to clean up the area. I am fighting a losing battle on my own.
Surely the municipality can send just two workers to clean this up – a whole team is not needed otherwise it just becomes a tea party and the job takes twice as long. I am quite willing to contribute the black bags to contain this rubbish.
The area should be monitored to stop this from happening again. We are all paying our rates and taxes and what are we getting in return?
Shame on you too.
