Rapper pleads for public’s help to invest in talented youngsters

A local artist is has started a foundation to boost the entertainment industry on the West Rand.

A local artist has started a foundation not only to boost the entertainment industry on the West Rand but to create opportunities for talented youngsters.

The 26-year-old Morena Mothoana, aka Fits SA, who is also a rapper, said after seeing so much potential going to waste, he decided to do something about it. He now pleads with the public to come on board to help.

For a long time I felt artists on the West Rand were neglected. There are so many young people who have talent but they’re being overlooked,” Fits SA said.

He’s asking the public to contribute to the foundation by investing in discovering raw talent among as DJ, singers, rappers, models and the likes.

“It’s sole purpose is to produce as many successful artists on the West Rand from the producers, rappers, photographers, influencers and many more whom the foundation will help,” he added.

Fits SA added that he had experienced a lot growing up in the region and often was disheartened when youngsters either lost their lives due to drugs or suffer mental illness as a result.

Now is the time to bring change,” he said.

“We’ve seen many people going astray because they were so frustrated with being deprived of opportunities, but I’ve realised that by starting this foundation we’ll give them hope to live to their full potential. It is time to put the youth first,” Fits SA said.
