Woman found shot in head
A young woman was found shot and killed in Bekkersdal where serious crime is rife.
Bekkersdal Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of an unknown woman was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Bekkersdal on Thursday April 21.
According to Bekkersdal Police spokesperson Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, the victim is estimated to be between the ages of 25 and 30.
She was wearing maroon, black and white tights, a black and white long sleeve T-shirt and red Vans sneakers. The motive of her murder has yet to be established, and we’re appealing to the public to come forward with any information that could help us to contact her next of kin, and with the investigations,” Lefakane said.
She added that the body was taken to Carletonville government mortuary.
