Bowling club hosts lovely Autumn-themed Ladies Day

The ladies started the morning with lovely light finger snacks, tea and coffee before they all headed to the greens to start their matches.

Women from different bowling clubs came together at the Randfontein Bowling Club for their Ladies Day on Wednesday, April 13.

The club decided on the theme ‘Autumn’ and the hall was decorated beautifully.

The ladies started the morning with lovely light finger snacks, tea and coffee before they all headed to the greens to start their matches.

One of the organisers of the event, Barbara Britz said it is an annual event, and every year in the middle of April it’s the Randfontein Bowling Clubs’ turn to host the Ladies Day.

All the clubs from all the districts have breakfast, play bowls and enjoy a lovely lunch together.”

Money is raised for the blind at the event, and the club uses the surplus funds for the upkeep of the greens.

The ladies are always keen to relax, play bowls and enjoy the morning together.
