Taxi and three bakkies collide on N12: Young man seriously injured

Two people were injured, one seriously, after a taxi and three bakkies collided on the N12 between Westonaria and Lenasia on Monday, December 6.

According to ER24’s Ross Campbell their paramedics arrived on scene at approximately 21:54 along with provincial services.

A man from the taxi, believed to be in his late 20s, was found to have suffered serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support interventions to stabilise his condition before being transported to hospital for further care,” Campbell said.

He added another man in one of the bakkies involved – believed to be in his late 40s or early 50s – who sustained moderate injuries was transported to hospital for further medical care.
