Death at Greenhills dam still under investigation

Police are investigating the death of a man at a dam in the vicinity of Tier Street on Tuesday, August 17.

Yesterday, August 19, police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks confirmed to the Herald that the death was the result of suicide. However, the police have since indicated that the cause of his death has not been established yet.

The cause of and circumstances surrounding the victim’s death will be investigated during the inquest.
