Let us remember those we lost to Covid-19

We want to remember those we lost to the coronavirus, that is why we invite the community to share their memories with us.

We are in the middle of the third wave of Covid-19, in a stricter lockdown once again, and our infection numbers are looking dismal.

Even if you do not believe the statistics, what you cannot ignore is the loss of family and friends around you.

In the past few weeks, we as journalists have also experienced the loss of friends, family and community members, and we cannot forget those we loved.

For this reason we invite the community to send us a head-and-shoulders photo of the loved one they have lost to Covid-19, with a small write-up about them. You can send the information to randfonteinherald@caxton.co.za.

We will publish this on our memorial page.

Let us not forget them.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!

Clinton is also the editor of Randfontein Herald since July 2020. As a sports fanatic he wormed his way into various "beats - as the media would know it - and admits openly that his big love always have something to do with a scoreboard, crowds and usually a ball that hops.
