RPA brings back ‘We Salute You’ Campaign

The RPA would like the public to nominate people or organisations who they believe deserve recognition for making a difference.

The Randfontein Publicity Association (RPA) has some exciting news.

They have re-launched the We Salute You Campaign. RPA publicity officer Joy Hamann said the campaign will acknowledge the good deeds of exceptional people, and create awareness of what they do or have done.

She explained that there are many exceptional people living in town, people who are determined to make a difference to those around them, who do not sit idly by and watch as animals, people and the environment suffer as a result of neglect and lack of funding.

We often hear of individuals or organisations taking it upon themselves to help those in need, go above and beyond the call of duty and give something back to society without asking for anything in return.”

The campaign will run over five and half months, and will culminate in an awards ceremony – depending on Covid-19 – towards the end of November.

The RPA would like the public to nominate people or organisations who they believe deserve recognition for making a difference. Nomination forms and criteria are available from the Randfontein Publicity Association office at the Greenhills Sport Stadium, or can be downloaded from the RPA website.

If you want to get forms from the office, please phone ahead of time as staff work from home from time to time. For more information phone Joy Hamann on 011 412 2878/1562 or WhatsApp on 082 852 1860, or send her an email at joy@randfonteininfo.co.za.
