Watch out Mr SA, here comes our Rodney!
Rodney Nimmo is currently representing Randfontein in the Top 50 of Mr South Africa 2021.
Our very own and the reigning Mr Randfontein, Rodney Nimmo, is currently representing Randfontein in the Top 50 of Mr South Africa 2021.
Rodney, 32, explained that being in the Top 50 is an overwhelming feeling for him, but all the support from everyone really drives him to push through and hopefully make it to the top. He explained that he started entering pageants because of his passion for the performing arts and education, and through pageantry he has been able to help in the community, raise awareness and become a role model to others.
“I do what I do because I have a passion for self-development and growth.”
He is motivated by his friends, family, his RHSian family and the community that raised him. According to Rodney, becoming Mr South Africa is more than just an achievement. “It’s a validation that my hard work and determination paid off.
This competition is a platform I can build on and create many opportunities for young men in my community.”
He explained that he entered Mr South Africa because it is a brand that strives to create a male ambassador that generations looking for a model male and not a male model can look up to.
“Humility, compassion, integrity, professionalism and realness are the key attributes that make a Mr South Africa.”
