Four injured in public holiday crash on R28

'Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the vehicle on its roof in the centre median' – ER24.

Four people were left injured when their vehicle rolled on the R28 in Randfontein on Wednesday, 16 December.

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said paramedics arrived on the scene shortly before noon to find the vehicle on its roof in the centre median.

“The four occupants, three men and a woman, were found seated on the side of the road. Medics assessed the patients and found that all four patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.”

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
