Ngelenge will make a great addition to your family

Ngelenge is a grey and black Great Dane of about five years old looking for his forever home.

The festive season is here and a furry friend is on many a Christmas wish list.

Instead of buying a pet, why not adopt the perfect companion from shelters that need your support?

Like this handsome boy called Ngelenge, a grey and black Great Dane who is about five years old and looking for his forever home.

According to Renè van Straten, inspector at the Rand West SPCA, Ngelenge arrived at the SPCA on 9 November 2020.

“I was busy doing inspections in the Finsbury area where I drove down into one of the fields and saw this massive but skinny dog looking for food. I got out of the vehicle and went on my knees and called him … and he came running towards me. I opened the vehicle and he jumped in, and he has been at the SPCA ever since.”

Ngelenge has picked up a lot of weight and is looking really healthy.

Although he is about five years old, that is not stopping him from acting like a puppy. He is full of energy and lovable.

He will need a lot of space to run around and get rid of any excess energy, but he is really friendly and sweet and will make a great companion for anyone who has the space and commitment for this giant puppy.

To adopt this wonderful and energetic dog, please contact the Rand West SPCA on 011 412 3114.
