R’fontein Police Station reopens after Covid-19 decontamination

'Fully operational again' – Randfontein Police spokesperson after station was closed temporarily.

The Randfontein Police Station is open again after the building was decontaminated due to a confirmed Covid-19 case.

The Herald reported on Saturday, 8 August that the police station had to be closed temporarily after another member tested positive for Covid-19.

Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed by noon on Tuesday, 11 August, that the community can now access the Randfontein Police Station as its Community Service Centre is fully operational.
