Rand West City now has 2 188 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 888 recoveries

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District as 19 July is 8 835, with 93 deaths and 3 906 recoveries. There are 304 new cases.

As at 19 July, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Rand West City stood at 2 188, according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown. A total of 888 people have recovered so far.

Mogale City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 4 613 and 1 943 cases respectively. There are 91 unallocated cases in this District as well. Mogale City and Merafong City have seen 2 016 and 1 002 recoveries respectively.

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District as 19 July is 8 835, with 93 deaths and 3 906 recoveries. There are 304 new cases.

In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Region C, which comprises Roodepoort, the number of confirmed cases to date stands at 7 747, with 3 698 recoveries.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 133 617, with 66 374 recoveries and 986 deaths.
