Mapogo A Mathamaga Security released its crime report for the period of Sunday, 7 June to Sunday, 14 June.
According to Herman Coetzee, Operations Manager at Mapogo, the crime report for their client base during this period revealed that there were about seven incidents.
These include four incidents of business break-ins, two in Westonaria and two in Randfontein, specifically in the Randgate and Greenhills area, while an incident of attempted break-in was reported in Westonaria as well.
There was one incident of armed robbery in Aureus and one incident of common theft in Randgate where a gate motor was stolen.
“Criminals are very active in Randfontein and Westonaria,” Coetzee warned.
