Young woman missing since September
Westonaria woman has been missing for seven months.
A 23-year-old Simunye woman, Precious Refilwe Mlambo, has been missing since 8 September 2019.
According to Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson, Mlambo was last seen by her mother Christina at about 4.30pm that day.
“She left home without telling her where she was going,” Lefakane said.
“The mother thought she had gone out and would return later that evening, but that wasn’t the case. When she did call Precious’ cellphone it was only ringing. At the end of November, the phone went dead. The matter was later reported to the police and investigations have since been under way,” Lefakane said.
Mlambo is of average build, has black hair and was wearing a yellow dress with lace on top at the time of her disappearance.
“We are appealing to the public to assist with any information that could lead to tracing Precious.”
