RAMRA recruits more people to save the town
'Part of the campaign was to raise funds to help tackle the issues that our town is facing' – Rand West Municipal Ratepayers Association (RAMRA).
Rand West Municipal Ratepayers Association (RAMRA) held its campaign outside the Greenhills Stadium during the four-day 2020 Randfontein Show, to alert the public about the gradually decaying state of the town.
Louis Jordaan, a member of the Association appealed to residents of Rand West City to join the Association, and informed them about the measures that are needed to save the town.
“Part of the campaign was to raise funds to help tackle the issues that our town is facing. We as the Association are very concerned about Eskom’s plan to cut our electricity supply, and we want to prevent it. We have to budget and make sure that we get everyone involved, especially those who would be affected,” Louis said.
