Randgate gets mobile X-ray unit valued at R2,7 million

A mobile X-ray unit valued at R2,7 million was launched by Gauteng Health MEC, Dr Bandile Masuku, at the Randgate Clinic on Wednesday, 19 February.

The main reason why this unit was acquired was to alleviate pressure on local hospitals as it gives many who cannot get to hospitals access to X-ray services.

“People will be assessed here without having to congest the hospitals,” Masuku said.

The unit also caters to other local clinics within the Rand West City district.
