Socca Kidz kick off season with friendly in the rain

Socca Kidz put their knowledge, skills and hard work at training to test during a friendly match against two other clubs on Saturday, 8 February.

Although the rainy weather was not too kind, players still gave it their all.

Anton Meerkotter, owner and coach of Socca Kidz explained that all the age groups were in action on the day.

“The U/6s, U/10s and U/13 teams faced Ace Duiker’s FC while the seniors, including the U/16s and U/19s faced off against Kent Sensational FC. Despite the rain, it was well attended. A special thanks goes to everyone from the community who helped to make it a successful day.”

Coach Anton added that since it was a friendly match, they decided not take score. Fun and game time were the main focus.
