WATCH: Water gushes from street in Randgate

Water has been flowing down the road in Randgate for kilometres.

The Herald received a video from a concerned resident about water gushing out in Union Street, Randgate.

What is really unacceptable, she said, is that the water has been flowing down the road for kilometres.

“Water is a very valuable resource and we all have to pay to use it, but now it is going to waste,” she added.

The questions she has been asking are, how many kilolitres are being wasted, and who is going to pay for it.

Tshidiso Tlharipe, Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) spokesperson stated they have been made aware of the issue and will send out plumbers to tend to the issue.
