Tributes to Mathebula lovebirds
The joint memorial service of the late boxing legend Peter Terror Mathebula, 68, and his wife, Emma, also in her 60s, in Mohlakeng on Sunday, 26 January saw members of the community, government organisations and the boxing fraternity paying tribute to them.

Members of the community came out in numbers to celebrate the life and times of boxing legend Peter Terror Mathebula and is wife Emma at a joint memorial service at the Ramosa Hall in Mohlakeng on Sunday, 26 January.
Terror died in the Leratong Hospital on Saturday, 18 January at the age of 68. Emma, also in her 60s, tragically passed away less than a week later on Thursday, 23 January.

The service saw people speaking highly of the two lovebirds who took their undying love to the grave.
Terror made history back in 1980 when he beat Korean, Tae-Shik Kim in the USA, to become the first black South African to win a world title.
