Vehicle crashes into pole – passenger injured

One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident on the R28 between Randfontein and Krugersdorp on Friday morning, 29 November.

Robert Msimango, assistant superintendent of the Mogale City Traffic Department told the Herald they arrived on scene before 11am and found a light motor vehicle had crashed into a light pole next to the R28.

“The passenger in the vehicle sustained facial injuries while the driver escaped injury,” Msimango said.

All necessary medical services were on scene to assist. Authorities are investigating the accident.
