Get to know a ‘Teiner #132 – Joanne Faddy
The 132nd person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces herself.
Meet our Teiner of the Week, Joanne Faddy, 35, who described herself as a fun and loving person. Joanne is originally from Secunda, but has made Randfontein her home for over 18 years.
Joanne said she simply loves her job as a hairdresser as she gets to listen to interesting stories as told by her clients.
“I do not like talking, and prefer listening to others. I must say, it is one of the many benefits that I have in this line of work. Surprisingly, this keeps me fulfilled,” Joanne said.
She said that after knocking off, she still has the pleasure of surrounding herself with her loved ones, namely her beloved husband and children.
“I have been married for the past 14 years, and have two children who keep me busy. I do not go out a lot because my family keeps me grounded – I simply love spending time with them.”
She added that she loves the town and its people and does not plan on moving anywhere.
